How My Human Design (and Taste for Life) Shaped a Soul-Centered Connection Brand
I was literally jaw dropped mouth on the floor when Chelsey told me what my human design cognition was. Taste! Are you kidding me?? Everything makes so much sense!
What if your purpose wasn’t something you had to figure out, but something you could feel?
What if your brand wasn’t built by strategy, but by soul and by the subtle, sensory ways you move through the world? That’s the story I’m living. I didn’t just start a business. I began creating a soul-centered brand rooted in emotional safety, real connection, and the power of presence. And it all started with learning how I’m designed to “taste” life.
When I first stumbled into Human Design, I was a mom, a helper, a heart-on-her-sleeve kind of woman who loved bringing people together, usually around a table. But I didn’t realize that this wasn’t just a sweet spot. It was my blueprint.
As a 2/4 Emotional Generator with Taste cognition, I’ve learned that I’m not here to hustle or shout from the rooftops. I’m here to respond to what lights me up and gently guide others back to themselves through cozy spaces, honest conversations, and meals that nourish more than just the body.
My Superpower: Soulful Discernment
“Taste” cognition means I’m wired to know what feels right. It’s not just about food (though I love that part). It’s about sensing the right energy, the right vibe, the right people. Whether I’m curating a gathering or sharing something online, I know when something is aligned and when it’s not.
This intuitive sense is how I build trust. It’s how I help women feel safe enough to open up, laugh, cry, and remember who they are.
Connection, Not Performance
Gate 31, which lives in my Human Design chart as both my Moon and Attraction field, taught me something powerful: I’m here to lead through invitation, not assertion. I don’t have to chase an audience or force visibility. I magnetize when I’m emotionally clear and deeply myself.
That’s why this brand isn’t about being polished, it’s about being present. I don’t just want to share pretty meals. I want to create spaces where women feel fed in every way that matters.
Taste = My Inner Compass
In business, I’ve learned to follow what tastes good. If an idea feels bland or off, I don’t push it. If something excites me, even if it doesn’t “make sense” on paper, I know it’s for me.
This inner compass is what’s guiding me to create the kind of offerings that don’t just land in someone’s inbox, they land in their heart. Think cozy in-home cooking circles, intimate retreats, soulful recipe rituals, and content that feels like a deep exhale.
A Brand That Feels Like a Hug
My brand isn’t about teaching women to do more. It’s about helping them feel more. It’s about reminding them that joy, connection, and transformation aren’t reserved for someday, they’re available right now. Over soup. Under soft lighting. With honest conversations and gentle permission to want more.
That’s what “Taste” means to me. That’s what my Human Design keeps teaching me. And that’s the soul-centered connection brand I’m building, one cozy moment, one honest post, one healing meal at a time.
