You’re Not Meant for Everyone, and That’s the Point!

There’s a unique kind of ache that comes when someone you love doesn’t see the beauty in what you’re building.

Maybe it’s a friend who doesn’t “get” your work.

Maybe it’s family who doubts your dreams.

Maybe it’s strangers who scroll right past your heart-filled post while you’re sitting there wondering if it even mattered.

And I just want to say, I’ve felt it too.

It’s hard when the people we want to celebrate us…don’t.

But here’s what I’m learning, slowly and soulfully:

The people who are meant to be touched by your work will be.

They’ll feel it. They’ll resonate with it.

Not because you convinced them but because your message met them in a place they already needed healing.

We don’t have to strive to be understood by everyone.

And we’re not here to water ourselves down just so someone else can sip what they’re not yet ready to taste.

There’s purpose in the silence.

There’s wisdom in the waiting.

And there’s a God who knows exactly where your gifts are going to land, even if they’re not landing where you thought they would.

Not everyone is ready for the kind of connection, joy, or depth you’re offering.

And that’s okay.

Because someone is.

Someone’s sitting on the edge of a breakthrough, and your story is the very thing that helps them see themselves again.

Someone’s longing for the exact emotional safety you create just by being who you are.

You don’t have to be louder.

You just have to keep being faithful.

Keep showing up.

Keep creating.

Keep speaking life, even when the crowd is quiet.

Because your work isn’t about applause, it’s about impact.

And the people who are meant to receive it? They’ll feel it in their soul.
